A great food and wine pairing creates a balance between the components of a dish and the characteristics of a wine – with the hope that a complimentary pairing enhances the flavors of both. This process can be both intimidating and complex. However, our class is designed to teach you the basics and make sure that your next dinner party is a success!
We will explore the brief history between a region’s cuisine and their wines, complements and contrasts of those pairings, physical properties of the wine, as well as matching the weights between the food and wine.
